Board Actions

The board of education on Jan. 9:

Heard a Prop S update on current construction work; view the presentation;
Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s Human Resources program evaluation; read the report or view the presentation;
Approved paying $6,842,622.51 for regular bills;
Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for December 2023;
Approved paying $194,343.44, for purchases made on Pattonville’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of 1% (or $1,943.44);
Approved paying $13,726.35 to EducationPlus for the balance (40%) of the 2023-2024 annual membership dues;
Approved paying $5,437.10 to the Law Offices of Betsey Helfrich for legal services;
Approved, as lodged for action on Dec. 12, 2023, the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school calendars; see the calendars;
Approved the lease for PowerSchool Attendance Intervention and Communication Suite from PowerSchool for $23,186.58 this year and $25,172.48 for the next three years;
Approved the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Contract Amendment with S.M. Wilson & Co.;
Awarded the bid for SentielOne XDR Solution to the Burwood Group, Inc. for the period of 19 months for $26,899.50; and
Approved the lease-purchase of Apple iPads in an amount not to exceed $495,530.01 (this is a zero interest lease) for a term not to exceed three years.
