Homecoming spirit week is this week through October 1st! The theme for homecoming is Night at the Movies. Each grade level has been given a movie genre to go along with the theme. Freshman - Western movies, Sophomores: Horror/Thriller movies, Juniors: Animated movies, Seniors: Adventure/Action movies. The spirit dress up days for the rest of the week are today - dress up with the movie theme of your class, and Friday - Class colors day (Freshman: yellow, Sophomores: blue, Juniors: Red, and Seniors: Green). Class color t-shirts will be available to buy at lunch for $10. 

Totals for wacky weather dress up day was Freshmen in 4th place - 15% dressed up, Sophomores in 3rd place - 17% dressed up, Juniors in 1st place - 35% dressed up. Seniors in 2nd place - 31% dressed up. Friday is dress with your grade's color theme day. You will be sitting with your grade level at the assembly tomorrow during homeroom so wear your grade level color to show your class pride!

Penny wars Totals so far this week are as follows. Seniors are in 4th place Juniors are in 3rd place, Sophomores are in 2nd place, Freshmen are in 1st place

Homecoming float building is today from 6-9pm at the bus garage behind holman. 

The homecoming football game is this Friday October 1st at 7pm. Tickets are $5 for all. $3 with school I.D

The homecoming parade is this saturday October 2nd at 10am. The parade will start at the community center and go down through Glenpark to Bennington and end at the high school. There is no parking at the Community Center the day of the parade.

The homecoming dance is this saturday October 2nd from 7-10pm at the Stadium. 

Penny War tables will be set up at lunch this week till October 1st to support a local charity butterfly house while being part of our class competitions. Any pennies placed in the class buckets are positive points to that class. Any dollars or silver coins placed in the class buckets are negative points to that class.

 

Title 1 Parent Meeting

This meeting will be a part of our regularly scheduled PTO meeting and will happen in the Willow Brook library. Masks are required for all who enter the building, regardless of vaccination status.

Pattonville school board votes to roll back residential tax rate

The Pattonville Board of Education on Sept. 28 voted to reduce the tax rate for homeowners by 18 cents for the 2021-2022 school year. Personal property and commercial property tax rates were also reduced by 18 cents and 13 cents, respectively.

Tomorrow is Wacky weather confused day. You must be dressed confused about the weather to get counted for the dress up day and win class competitions for your grade level.

Community Service Opportunity:  Lots of volunteers are needed this Saturday, Oct. 2nd from 8:30am-1pm for a Health Care Fair at the Maryland Heights Community Center.  Stop by the CSO in room E200 to sign up!

Science Club will meet this Thursday after school in F216.  This is for anyone interested in any area of science.  We will dig deeper into what interests you !! Questions?  See Mrs Byrne in F216.

Three seniors named a Commended Student by National Merit Scholarship Program

Three Pattonville High School seniors have been named a Commended Student in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Corporation. High school principal Ms. Teisha Ashford received letters announcing this distinction which were presented to each student along with tickets to an upcoming St. Louis Cardinals game.

FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will be meeting tonight at 6pm in room G202.  Come for food, fun, and fellowship.  Don't forget to bring your masks.  Hope to see you all there! 

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams who competed this weekend in Columbia, Missouri on Saturday. Jamyra Blair took 15th in the JV girls race. Luke Stevenson took 24th in the Varsity boys race. And Keilah Wilkes was the champion of the Varsity girls race.
