June 9 board of education meeting to take place virtually

The June 9 Pattonville Board of Education meeting will take place virtually to honor St. Louis County’s stay-at-home order and ensure the safety of our community, board and staff. The special budget session starts at 6:15 p.m. and the reorganization meeting and regular open meeting will start at 7 p.m.

In recent days, we have witnessed the outcry of anger and grief over the tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. As a school community that values and celebrates diversity as a strength, we see the pain our students, staff, and community are experiencing. Recent events underscore that we as a society have much work left to do to ensure African-American friends, neighbors, and colleagues can thrive in the world without fear or encountering barriers to success.

Transportation department earns "Total Fleet Excellence Award"

Pattonville School District earned the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s “Total Fleet Excellence Award” by obtaining a first-time approval score of 94.2% during the annual inspection of its buses. At the conclusion of the inspection, the district’s score was 100%.

Schools plan end-of-year parades for students

Tuesday, May 26, was officially the last day of school for students in the Pattonville School District. Teachers and staff members at Early Childhood, Bridgeway, Remington Traditional, Parkwood, Rose Acres and Willow Brook organized end-of-the-year parades as a farewell to students. While most schools held their events in a parking lot, Willow Brook hit the streets and drove through the neighborhoods.

Pattonville senior named National Merit Scholarship winner

Pattonville High School senior Kyle Halveland is among the third group of winners in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. Halveland received the National Merit University of Missouri - Columbia Scholarship. His probable career field is oncology.
