Community members showed great support by contributing to the Maria’s Backpacks School Supply Drive this year. The campaign collected 5,778 items and representatives from the City of Maryland Heights dropped off the donations on Aug. 26, at the Pattonville School District Learning Center.
 
Maria Lucas worked at the Maryland Heights Community Center when she died in a tragic accident. She enjoyed giving back to the community through education and began her career as a special education teacher in the Ritenour School District. The school supply drive is held in her memory and begins every year on her birthday, July 3.

All students who are driving to school must have a student parking pass sticker displayed on their car.  Parking applications are available in office H200.  Any students driving to school without a parking sticker will be issued a detention beginning next week.  In addition, students cannot park in spots designated as "staff parking".  Students who park in staff parking will also be issued detentions

Open House is Thursday August 25 at the high school and will begin at 6:20 PM in the PHS auditorium. The schedule can be found in Principal Ashford's invitation letter sent home with students on Tuesday August 23. The 2022 PHS Open House invitation letter is also linked here.
