Girls swim team compete at state championships

The Pattonville High School girls swimming and diving team competed at the MSHSAA Class 2 state championships at the City of St. Peter Rec-Plex. The Pirates placed 22nd in the final team rankings with 21 points.
 
Freshman Jenna Ridings medaled at the competition placing sixth in the championship final of the 100 yard butterfly race with a time of 57.99 seconds. Ridings reached the consolation finals in the 200 yard freestyle and placed 10th, breaking her own school record with a time of 1:56.90. Sophomore Emma Eiswirth broke her own school record in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.75 in the preliminary round and placed 16th in the consolation final.

Housley surprised with full-tuition college scholarship

Pattonville High School senior Athena Housley was named a recipient of Maryville University’s Dr. Donald M. Suggs Scholarship worth $140,264 during a surprise presentation during class on Feb. 22. Housley is one of just four winners for 2023. This freshman competitive scholarship is awarded to incoming African American students from the St. Louis metropolitan area who have demonstrated the potential for academic achievement. It provides full tuition, room and board expenses for four years.

Community Service scholarships are now available in the CSO E200

Drummond is in need of 2 volunteers for their PTO meeting next week, Thursday, 3/2 6-7pm

 

 

Want to help save lives?  Sign-ups for the blood drive during lunch.  You must be at least 17, or 16 with a signed parent permission. The Blood Drive will be held Friday Feb 24th in the activities center. 

 

Parkwood PTA is in need of 4 volunteers for a movie night Thurs. Feb 23, 4:30-8.

Come see the Triple A Black History Program! The program will take place in the auditorium February  24th from 6-8:30! Tickets for the program will start selling Monday 02/13, tickets are $5 per student

Kindergarten registration scheduled for March 1-3, 2023

Families with children who plan to attend kindergarten during the 2023-2024 school year should enroll their child during kindergarten registration, set for March 1 through 3. Two Pattonville students advance in SkillsUSA competition

Pattonville High School senior Dannielle Henderson and junior LaMiyah Martin won medals at the Missouri Association of SkillsUSA East District competitions held at Ranken Technical College and St. Louis Community College. Both students attend North Technical High School and will advance to the state championships that will take place March 30 to April 1.
